I’ve been in the fitness industry for 20 years now and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I love to cook and find that food is the best way to bring people together. Writing is one of my passions that allows me to combine both of these worlds.

I’m here to share my passion for nutritious food and my creations with you. I believe that eating a diet that is rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and great seafood, leads to better overall health and well-being.

I also believe that cooking from scratch as much as possible is the key to achieving your best health! This blog offers recipes for Southern favorite comfort foods and more!
